Can my account get banned?
Genes Drafter does not touch the game's files, memory or network traffic; it never taps for you and automates nothing. It only reads the draft you can already see on screen and shows suggestions from public match statistics; you still make the pick yourself.
That said, the app is not approved by Supercell, and no third-party app can give an absolute guarantee. If you would rather not run it during a match, you can get the same suggestions outside the game in Draft Lab or in the map guide.
Which permissions does the app ask for, and why?
Screen capture: to read the draft screen. Your phone shows an icon at the top, and you can stop it from the notification at any time. Display over other apps: to show the suggestion on top of the game. Internet: to fetch the daily meta data and your profile. Notifications (optional): so you can stop the coach from the notification and know when it stops.
